I can remember as far back when our family first met Carol back in late 1968. Jim brought Carol to our home to meet the family. Unfortunately, my parents where leaving for the evening to attend a formal dance. Carol was a young lady of 17 and was preparing to graduate from high school. Jim and Carol's plans get married moved forward quickly. All of a sudden she was at her bridal personal shower hosted by my sister Virginia. The wedding was a September fall wedding. A few years later they were expecting there first son Chad James, then a few years later there son Joshua Jess arrived. She was a devoted mother and loved being a mother to her two sons. I can say that I remember her as a very loving and kind person, a good cook and loved to bake, and just adored Elvis. I spoke briefly through the years to her at family milestone functions. The last time I saw her was her 70th birthday party at Josh and Marina' home. I saw her always as a very lovely and caring grandmother to her four grand children. Her two sons and daughter in- laws truly meant the world to this very kind and unselfish lady of strength. May she sincerely rest in peace and enjoy all her loved ones and friends that have gone before her. I'm sure Elvis greeted her with her favorite songs of his that she loved so much.
