Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, teacher, musician. Survived by her husband of 58 years, Curtis, daughters Ann Marie Boudreault (Terry), and Alana Elliott (Rob), grandsons Daniel and Alex Boudreault and granddaughters Sarah and Megan Elliott. She is also survived by her brother Gerald and his family and all of the Paproski family members who took her into their hearts.

Carol Jean was raised in Picture Butte, AB. She graduated in 1964 with a B.Ed. from the University of Calgary and ARCT from the University of Toronto. She went on to teach for over 30 years in Calgary before retiring, first to Fernie, BC in 1997, and then to Courtenay in 2008.

As her health deteriorated, she became a resident of The Views at St. Joseph’s in 2018, where she resided until her passing. Her family is extremely grateful for the care she received during this difficult time.

As per Carol Jean’s request, a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Carol's name to a charity of your choosing.
