Carol Sue Nuttall, age 88 of Bradley, IL, passed Monday, June 17, 2024. She was born December 25, 1935 in Olney, IL to Lowell and Anna (Gaynor) Allison.

On December 1, 1956, Carol married James Nuttall at the First Christian Church of Bridgeport. For nearly 43 years, they experienced life and enjoyed their family together until James passed away in October of 1999.

Carol was a devoted homemaker to her family. She had worked as a business office assistant and had been a member of the First Christian Church of Bridgeport and the Lake of Egypt Christian Church in Marion. She enjoyed fishing, camping, drawing, and her family.

Surviving family includes: her four children- Cynthia S. Leoni and husband Ronald of Bourbonnais, IL; Sandra K. Dishman of Bradley, IL and fiancé Russell King of Beecher, IL; Deborah J. Allison and husband David Nichols of Land O’ Lakes, FL; and James V. Nuttall and wife Beth of Bourbonnais, IL: two grandchildren- Brandon J. Bakhaus of Philadelphia, PA and Drew A. Dishman of Bradley, IL: bonus grandchild- Casey Pendergrass: and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents- Lowell and Anna Allison: husband- James Nuttall: and her siblings.

A burial will be scheduled at a later date to take place in Bridgeport City Cemetery.
