Carol's obituary

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Carol Ann Munch, 84, who passed away on October 14, 2024 in LasVegas, Nevada.  Born on April 8, 1940, Carol  was a loving mother and wife and is survived by her daughters, Tammy Munch-Swanson and Penny Schuhrke, her granddaughter, Amanda Swanson, and her son-in-law, Van Swanson. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Allan Munch; her sister, Joyce Bearlund,  her brother, Roy Szesny; and her daughter, Debra Munch.

Carol was a woman of many passions. She had a deep appreciation for painting and loved to paint seascapes. She enjoyed thr soothing voices of Rod Stewart. She treasured her time spent in the kitchen, cooking and baking for her family, and her artistic talent shone through in the stained glass pieces she crafted. As a dog lover, she enjoyed dog training, which only showcased her compassionate and patient nature. She also took immense pleasure in exploring new destinations, with Hawaii and Saddle Lake Island being her favorite vacation spots.

Carol's big heart found a cause in animal rescue, as she was always willing to help those without a voice. Her caring, loving, and thoughtful personality was a beacon of light to those around her. One of her favorite sayings, "If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all," served as a testament to her kindness and consideration for others. Carol's legacy of kindness and generosity will be forever remembered and cherished.

One of Carol's crowning achievements was creating and prospering an online stained glass business on Etsy. This accomplishment not only displayed her artistic talents but also her entrepreneurial spirit. Her creativity and hard work were an inspiration to many.

Carol Munch's warm spirit and her love for life touched many lives. She will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her friends and family, and in the kindness and generosity she embodied.
