CAROL's obituary
- We are horribly saddened to announce the unexpected passing of CAROL JUNE MCGAULEY at the age of 81 yrs. CAROL succumbed to her illness after a short battle with the side effects of a Major Stroke. As in life, she gave her heart and soul to animals, friends, and family. At her request upon death, she became an organ donor. CAROL was born on June 17, 1941, to parents JAMES LIGHTFOOT WILSON, Father, and GERALDINE J WILSON, Mother both deceased. She was a Social Worker for the State of Missouri and worked as a Child Abuse Investigator for 13 years of the 34 years with Family Services. CAROL is survived by her loving husband Larry McGauley of 34 years and two daughters Sherry Hensley-Kidd of Liverpool, Tx, and Kathy Slagle of Walnut Grove, Missouri, and numerous grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews . Services will be held at St.Agnes Cathedral 533 S Jefferson Ave, Springfield, Mo 65806, on September 1, 2022, at 10:00 am. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
