Carol Martin left this world to be with her beloved husband Pete in Heaven, on January 31st, 2022. Just 4 days shy of her 87th birthday.

Carol was born Carol Leo Mustoe on February 4th, 1935 in Webster County, WV, to Clarence Homer Mustoe and Opal Ellena Cogar. She was the oldest of five siblings. Her father was in the logging business and they moved a lot throughout West Virginia.

Carol graduated from Richwood High School in 1953. She worked many jobs during her life all while raising a growing family. She worked in sales selling anything from real estate to Tupperware to Sears Maintenance Agreements. Whatever she did she excelled at it. Carol was married to the love of her life Robert "Pete" Martin for 41 years and they raised a large family.

She was a devoted member of Carolina Memorial Baptist Church and active in her Sunday School Class. She truly enjoyed the company of the ladies in her class and participating in church activities.

Carol was most known for her love of showing dogs and raising champion Pugs. She traveled the country to dog shows and was a renowned breeder. People came from all over the world to buy her dogs.

Carol is survived by her children, Kerry Bowman, Cindy Lowe, Edward Adams, Lisa Bohn (Jason), Sheila Bradshaw, Ellena Martin, and Robert Martin Jr. (Theresa), 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Sam Mustoe and sister Connie Whitmore-Kesecker, as well many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Pete" Martin, parents Clarence and Opal, daughter Donna Marie Nichols, son Stephen D. Adams, and sisters Beth Dean and Bonnie Baxter.
