Carol Lopes, age 65, passed away peacefully the morning of July 9, 2022 following a courageous battle with cancer. Carol was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and most recently made a grandmother. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and later resided in Staten Island to raise her family and ultimately moved to Pennsylvania where she would host the best gatherings, always bringing her family and friends together. Carol had a one-of-kind caring soul, looking after all those around her, ensuring they felt protected and taken care of. Her willingness and kindness to go above and beyond for others was inspiring and will be forever cherished. She will be remembered for her impeccable taste in fashion and style but most importantly her warm, loving spirit and we pray that she continues to bless us with her light.

Carol Lopes is survived by her husband Angelo Lopes, her children Jessica, Salvatore, Eric and Alex Lopes, her son-in-law Kevin Kozlowski, two daughter-in-laws Ana and Olivia Lopes, her grandchild Bryce Hudson, sisters Gerriann Vovk and Lisa Grzeczka and many nieces and nephews who she all adored.

Family, friends and other lives that were touched by Carol Lopes are invited to the Azzara Funeral Home, 183 Sand Ln., Staten Island, NY from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022 to honor Carol, reminisce, grieve and support each other.
