Carol Logan, 82, of Weatherford, TX, passed away on February 08, 2026.  She passed peacefully under the care of hospice. 

Carol was born on March 6th, 1943 to BJ and Dorothy Dickinson in El Paso, Texas. After graduating from Ysleta High School in 1961, she went on to study at The University of Texas at Austin and later earned a degree in Biology from the The University of Texas at El Paso.  After graduation, she landed her first job as a teacher for the El Paso Independent School district and taught school in various capacities for 38 years. She met Paul J Logan and they wed in 1964, going on to have two children, Laurie and John.  When Carol had Laurie, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Carol excelled at propping up Paul, Laurie, and John, and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether it was teaching school or supporting her family, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Carol was very passionate about academics and coached two different Academic Decathlon teams at El Paso Coronado High School and El Paso Franklin High School, taking them both to the State Finals in Austin.  She was always very witty with an outstanding sense of humor, and she enjoyed playing bridge with friends, watching sports with her family, and playing trivia. We will miss her greatly. 

Carol was predeceased by her father BJ Dickinson, her mother, Dorothy Dickinson, and her husband, Paul J Logan. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Toten, son-in-law, Arvel Toten, son, John Logan, daughter-in-law, Shellie Logan, and five grandchildren Hailey Toten, Zoey Logan, Shelby Logan, Allison Logan, and Zane Logan.
