Our Beloved parents, Joseph F. Laviola and Carol B. Laviola passed away after 68 years of marriage in Red Bank, NJ. Joseph passed away on September 15, 2021, followed by Carol’s death only 11 months later on August 8, 2022. They were both struggling with illness for some time, but when they were able, they lived a full and very happy life.

Joseph was born on November 30, 1933 in Jersey City, NJ to Joseph and Mary Laviola.

Carol was born in Jersey City, on December 22, 1934 to Paul and Annette Borner. Carol and Joe met at Dickinson Highschool and were highschool sweethearts. They married on February 11, 1953. Soon after came 4 children, Richard (Donna), Ronald (Cheryl), Russell (Lisa), and Robin Ann (Carl). 7 grandchildren, Justin, Lauren, Keith, Kara , Joseph, Jessica and Lucas, and 5 great grandchildren. Joe is predeceased by his parents and brother Robert. Carol is predeceased by her parents and her sister Angela. Carol is survived by her sister Paula (Gert). They were always happiest when being surrounded by their family. Joe worked in the film industry and as a hobby always enjoyed movies, recording movies and proudly watching them with his family. Carol worked at Sears and Roebuck and she enjoyed the outdoors, taking long walks, cooking and taking care of their big family.

A funeral service will be held at Woodbine Cemetery at the mausoleum, Thursday, August 18, 2023 at 11:00am. 14 Maple Ave., Ocean Port, NJ.
