Carol Jean Wilson, 73, of Lady Lake, FL, and formerly from Byron, and the Rockford area, passed away early Monday, March 13, 2023, in The Villages. She was born on August 6, 1949, in Rockford, IL to Mildred, and John Kubinski. Carol was born and raised in Rockford, IL, and she spent her retirement years in Byron, IL, and Lady Lake, FL. She was married to J.W. Wilson, on August 1, 1970, and they were married for 52 years. Mrs. Wilson had a wonderful sense of humor, she loved to walk, cruise around in the golf cart, and spend time with friends, and family. She was an active member of the Byron Wrestling Mom's Association until her health started to fail. Also, Preceding her in death are her parents; John & Millie Kubinski, step-brother Ronny Kubinski, her uncles, and aunts.

Survivors include; Her husband; J.W. Wilson of Lady Lake, FL, her two boys Michael and wife Michele Wilson of Harvard, IL, and James William Wilson of Lady Lake, FL. Also, a host of relatives, and friends.

Mrs. Wilson will be cremated, and there will be a celebration of life for her.
