Carolyn Marie DeArmond Jacob went to be with her Lord on January 15th at age 72.

Carol was born to Denby Dempsey and Ethel Marie DeArmond on September 25th, 1949 in Dayton, OH. As a child, she was a member of 4H and the school choir.

Carol met her husband, John Paul Jacob, in 1968 at Missouri State College. They married in 1972 and had 4 children. In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, Carol was also a nationally board-certified educator who worked in special education for 35 years. Ever an advocate for others, she touched many lives through her volunteer work with Cleansing Streams Ministries, the Prayer Ministry Team and Bridge Builders Missions Group at Mechanicsville Christian Center, the Intercessory Prayer Team for Lifehouse Foursquare Church, and as a counselor with the Dominion Counseling and Training Center.

Carol is predeceased by son Paul, and parents Denby and Ethel. She is survived by husband, John, brothers Walter and Frank, daughter Christina (married to Douglas), sons David (married to Lorie) and Brian (married to Lori), grandchildren Audrey, Ethan, Andrew, Hannah; step-grandson Guilhermi; and 'Sis' Paxton.
