Carol Humble, of Loganville, Ga. , died expectedly on June30, 2023 from lung Cancer.  She was 76 years old. The family is deeply saddened by her death. Carol was born on January 23, 1947, in Decatur, Ga. to Walter Carlisle Humble and JoAnne Levy Humble.  She attended Decatur High School and Piedmont Hospital School of Radiologic Technology. She and lived in Metro Atlanta  for most of her life.

Carol studied Nuclear Medicine after x-ray school and had a career in this field about 36 years. This field was Carol's pride, joy, and life's work. She poured her heart and soul into the business which showed in her patients and the friends and coworkers she had.   Carol was a member of The Atlanta Bridge Club. She was a Life Master bridge player and loved to play as often as she could.  She loved attending and competing at tournaments and traveling.  Everyone who knew Carol knew how much she was. Carol was full of so much love for her nefews and neises, especially since she did not have children.  She also loved her sister more than anything.   Carol is survived by her sister Martha Meeks of Lexington, Ga. Her Niece Natalie Knight and her husband William Knight of Loganville, Ga, Her Great Niece Lawryan Muise and her husband Matthew Muise of Snellville, Ga., and her many great, great nieces and nefews.  Her  Services are being held at graveside on Thursday July 6th at 1p.m. at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetary.   Receptions is to follow at 139 Westchester Dr. SE, Smyrna, Ga.  Contributions in memory of Carol can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
