Carol's obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Carol Turner Hill, on September 5, 2025 at the age of 87. She passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was known for her kindness, selflessness and infectious laughter. She spent the majority of her life educating at Trenton and Chiefland middle and high schools, where she received many accolades for her outstanding service. Among them were awards for 1993 District Teacher of the Year, and 2004-2005 Chiefland Middle School Teacher of the Year. Her passion for education left a lasting impact on countless students.

She was a devoted mother to Brad (Lori) and Jason (Breana) and a cherished grandmother to Katie, Abbie, Parker and Jackson. She will be remembered for her unwavering love and the countless memories she created with her family.

Carol is survived by her sister Helen (Merle), sons Brad (Lori) and Jason (Breana), nieces Heather, Holly (Ed) and Heidi (Tommy) and grandchildren Katie, Abbie, Parker and Jackson.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at St. Albans Episcopal Church on September 27th at 1pm.

St. Albans Episcopal Church
7550 NW 149th Place, Chiefland, FL

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Haven Hospice in Carol’s memory.
