Carol's obituary

Carol Lynn Harris, born on February 16, 1954, in Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of Robert and Shirley Hall and cherished sister to her late brother Marion Rice, and surviving siblings Dwight Ellis and Sharon Whitmore.

Carol proudly served her country as a member of the United States Army, where she was honorably discharged to dedicate her life to raising her children. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and she leaves behind her two beloved children, Melissa Harris and Christopher Harris, who were the center of her world.

Known for her deep faith and love of Jesus, Carol's life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and compassion. Her gentle spirit touched the lives of many, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her legacy of love and service will be remembered by all who knew her.

In a final act of generosity, Carol donated her body to science, contributing to medical research and the advancement of knowledge. Her selfless decision reflects her lifelong commitment to helping others and making a difference in the world.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in her honor at Legacy Funeral Home and Life Center on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Carol are invited to gather and remember the remarkable woman she was.

Carol Lynn Harris will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her life was a blessing, and her memory will be cherished forever.
