Carol Sue (Tripp) Hardy of Stuart, Florida died at Cleveland Clinic North in Stuart on March 8, 2024
She was born September 6, 1941, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Bernie and Ruby Edwards Tripp. She was married in Stuart in 1960 at the United Methodist Church to Donald Lee Hardy she lived in Stuart for the past several years. Her husband of 56 years preceded her in death in 2018.
She had been a military wife most of her life, traveling to wherever her husband was stationed - Alaska, Colorado, and Illinois.
She attended church wherever her life took her – Argenta IL, Lake Wales FL or Stuart where she was a member of the Tropical Farms Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School in most of those churches.
She loved to read, crochet, quilt, paint, craft and to write. She loved her family and was proud of every one of them. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and faithfully served Him.
Survivors include: 4 children: Kathy (Mike English), Pam Hardy, Kristin (George Heiges), and Donald Lee Hardy II (fiancée Juana Diaz). Two sisters, Janet Schwalbach and Judy Bentel.
She had 9 grandchildren: Alexander English, Colin English, Heather Yingling, Josh Yingling, Steven Yingling, John Thomas Bumgardner, Greg Heiges, Becca Fritz, Veronica Diaz. She had 14 great grandchildren: Tyler, Ayden, Lyam, Jeremiah, Wyatt, Hunter, Dallas, Stonewall, Cole, Carly, Corbin, Autumn, Bryce, and Amelia.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, and her sister, Sharon Kettner.
