A beautiful poem written by Carol's niece, Bethanne Stevens...

Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality."

-Emily Dickinson

Aunt Carol, you loved and were loved by so many.

It’s impossible not to feel your presence.

Your strength and courage through everything has inspired all of us.

You showed us how to have a happy, successful marriage,

how to hold a family together,

and how to keep fighting when things get unimaginably tough.

How lucky we are to have known you.

We will cherish memories of your laugh, your wit, your hugs and your wisdom.

May you rest in peace knowing this world is better because you were in it.

A Special Carol Is Forever Written by Cindy Young

A special Carol brings light, love and laughter

A special Carol endures every day, even after.

A Carol is a birdsong singing in the wind,

chasing falling leaves that she has sent in.

A Carol is a sunbeam streaming from above

A song from the Angels, a direct ray of love

Piercing storms on a cold winter day

Just as we were wishing, why couldn’t she stay.

A Carol is a rainbow, a unicorn and a star

A Carol is a wish, making it that far.

A Carol is an apple sheet cake so lovingly made

A delight in my heart I have so carefully laid.

A Carol is a stream of love down your face

A soft river flows, filling that space.

May she bring solace, may she bring grace

May she always be there shining on our face

She is something to cherish She is something to hold

She is something to love that never gets old.

A Carol is patient a Carol is kind

A Carol like ours you will never find

A Carol so sweet, so beautiful and true

Never will there be one as lovely as you

There’s not a Carol more special in the world than you to us

A Carol so special that in God we must trust.

Please take her and make her a wonder of joy

Fill any valleys that may be a void

The big things, the little things, the things in every way

Open our eyes to our Carol every day.

Shared a heart Red heart

How do you pick a story when you have known each other for over 50 years? We married brothers who were and are best friends so our lives have been intertwined for years! We have camped together, swam together, canned together, worshiped together, gone on trips together but my favorite things are we shared life together! We shared stories of how our families were doing and we prayed for them because we love each others families! We did crazy things together like 7 of us went parking with the sunroof open and Don Fransisco playing loudly with the heat blasting since it was winter. She was at the hospital with us when my first 2 grandkids were born. I will forever be thankful we were family and learned to be best of friends! I still think of Carol when I want to share something with someone!  That is the thing I will miss the most! So long for now but we'll have a lot of talking to do later!
I loved her laugh and sense of humor. You would never know how much her body was going through as she would always focus on enjoying the moment with the person she was visiting with, bringing light And laughter. She will be missed down here, but I look forward to an eternity of her laughter and sense of humor.  Some may not know, but she was my wedding coordinator in 1993, and she did an amazing job.
Her Father in law, Brother Russell, was our Pastor. We went to church together and Carol Was A Pray Warrior, Her Faith and Belief in God Was Unwavering!!!! She said Many prayers for me and I Her. Boy Carol was hit with a whole lot of health troubles but a Smile was still there and a laugh and the Strongest Her Faith In God!!!! I member Carol being there many times for Her Nieces, Michelle and Sherri, when they moved from Randle, She was a Blessing to Them and I’m sure them to Her ❤️! My Mom, Elsie Mae Randall and Carol went on the Greyhound to Arizona 👏👏👏👏They had an amazing time, That Trip was a God Surprised Gift for them both❤️I’m sorry Carol won’t be here in body to be with Her Grandchildren  cause She sure enjoyed them, but She’ll Always be with us and we’ll meet again In The Sweet Bye and Bye
I only met Carol a few times. Each time was delightful. Her humor and especially her love for her family radiated with her smile.
