Carol's obituary
Carol Sue Galderise-Cramer-Pleasants age 65 of Midlothian VA went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2024 with her family by her side. She was proceeded in death by her parents Gerald Michael Galderise and Sue Powell King; her dear son Joshua Marcus Cramer.
Carol leaves behind her loving daughter AprilVest, husband NealVest Jr and her dear grandson Jordan Vest. She also has two loving sisters Mary Chappell, husband George. Janette Johnson, husband Tony. Four Newphews Stephen and Evan wife Kathleen Chappell, Jonathan wife Leanne great niece Wrenley and Jacob wife Cara and great niece Charlotte, great nephew Jaybre Epps. Several cousins and dear friends.
Carol was a loving Mother who lived her life to help others. Her children were her heartbeat. She retired from Ukrops Bakery 420/430 after 20 years of service. She was a master cake decorator whose handwriting was often requested on cakes. She loved her time spent working at the bakeries and made many friends there. She also trained many to go on and become decorators.
She loved her little slice of heaven at Deltaville. She was the beach queen. All she needed was a float, Conway Twitty on repeat, pepsi and her family to make a perfect day. She was very dedicated to helping with womens rights and often advocated by standing up for others and speaking up for their rights. She worked as a registar with the election committee and believed in everyones right to vote. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and it was there she taught her children and anyone who would listen about Jesus. She was a big country music fan. If there was live music you could bet she was front row dancing and singing. Her favorite was Conway Twitty so much so I thought he was part of the family. She enjoyed crossword puzzels, crossstitching, reading, sitting in the sunshine, hunting for seashells and decorating cakes.
She had the best sense of humor and always had the biggest smile. She loved to help others and dedicated her life to service of others. It brought her so much joy. She never met a stranger and could talk for hours on end and never miss a beat. She was the smartest person Ive ever known and taught me so much about Jesus, life and how to never give up and how to ride the best wave and catch the most crabs. She taught me everything but how to live without her. But she taught me about Jesus and knew he would help me through all my days.
The family would like thank the entire staff at Bon Secours Hospice care. They made her final days the best they could be. They took care of the family and made a difficult time a little easier.
A visistation will be Friday February 2, 2024 at 6pm-8pm. At her home church Salem Baptist Church. Wear purple for Carol as that was her favorite color. Come as you are and share your memories with us. There will be a private service at Deltaville where she loved to be the most.
