Carol Jean Frank, age 95, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. Born on March 29, 1930, in Lena, Wisconsin, Carol’s life spanned nearly a century of cherished moments and enduring family bonds.

Preceded in death by her father John Krystofick, her mother Helen Krystofick (nee Janik) and her sister Virginia Wittenburg Krenz (nee Krystofick).

Throughout her long and meaningful life, Carol was devoted to her family. She was the beloved mother of Daniel Frank (Janette), Bonnie Czerwinski (nee Frank), Richard Frank (Karen), and John Scott Frank. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy; she leaves behind grandchildren Dustin Frank (Heather), Daniel JR Frank (Cheryl), Deanna (Shane Windsor), Jason Frank (Gina), Edward Frank (Alexis Townsley), Rachel Frank, Nicole Frank, Melissa Czerwinski, Julie Frank, and Zachary Frank. Carol’s legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Steven Frank, Erica Frank, Rebecca Windsor, Quaid Windsor, Ella Frank, Riley Frank, Aurora Riek, and Roman Ruisch. She was also a great-great-grandmother to Vance Chase, Annabelle Chase, Olivia Chase and Rosalie Windsor.

Carol’s family meant the world to her. She took great pride in her children and found deep fulfillment in the lives of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Family gatherings were filled with laughter and warmth, and she dearly treasured those times.

Born in Lena and spending her final years in Wild Rose, Carol remained closely connected to her Wisconsin roots throughout her life. The values she instilled—trust and faith in the Lord, love for family and steadfast support for those around her—will continue to guide those who knew her.

Carol Jean Frank will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother whose devotion to family and the Lord was unwavering. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

A Visitation will be held on February 27, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mother of Perpetual Help Parish - East Site 2322 S 106th Street. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow the visitation starting at 12:00 PM at Mother of Perpetual Help Parish - East Site 2322 S 106th Street. There will also be a small gathering with light refreshments following the funeral mass.
