Background
Carol dedicated her life to her husband of 52 years, Samuel. In 1986 Sam was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. As the disease progressed, Sam has become confined to a bed and is permanently cared for by the VA Hospital, as he is a US Army Veteran. Despite the difficult circumstances, Carol continued to support Sam by visiting and calling nearly every day and ensuring that he remained stocked with all necessary items. All of Sam's devices and communications require voice control and therefore require additional fees that are incurred on top of regular care an housing expenses. 100% of any donated funds will go directly to the care and expenses of housing and caring for Sam. We feel that the best way to honor our mother is to continue her mission of making sure that Sam receives the best care possible.
