Carol Delgardo, was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She passed away peacefully Friday October 25th, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on December 24th, 1951, to the late parents, Thelma C. Delgardo and Charles Delgardo. Carol was a light of love and strength to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Elizabeth Olivia Delgardo Michaels and brother C.J Delgardo. She is survived by her two sisters, Kathleen Delgardo and Patty Malone (Chuck). Her three loving children, Steve(“Stevie”) Woody (Heather), Christie Cater, and Bobbie Whitehead (Randy), will forever hold her memory close along with many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews. Carol’s legacy lives on in her grandchildren: Hannah, Shea (Bryceson), Courtney, Meghan, Chris, Stephen, Jessika, and many other close friends and family. 

Carol found joy in life’s simple pleasures, often spending time at the beach, catching up with friends and family, and unwinding with her favorite soap operas. Her hard work, resilience, and independence were evident in all she pursued, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Carol’s life on November 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Baptist Church with Pastor James Saul Jr. officiating.
