Carol (Gregory) Cutlip was born in Ashland County, on Dec.16th, 1940. She graduated from Jeromesville High School in 1958. Graduated Nursing school in 1961. On July 21,1961 she married her long time 8th grade boyfriend, Jim Cutlip. Adopted Melinda Joy in Nov 1968, who passed in July, 1973. Adopted Tom in 197l. Her surviving husband, Jim, is now residing in Flagstaff, AZ. along with her son,Tom and her 6 grandkids. Her parents were Fred and Dora Gregory. Her sister Louise has passed and is survived by her sister, Helen Vanguilder who resides in Florida. Carol was an RN for many years at Ashland Family Practice and loved working with the practicing doctors. Her hobbies were sewing, cooking and gardening. Carol would count her other highlights as being “Grammie” to her 6 grandchildren in AZ. and was also thrilled to minister to other nurses on a mission trip to South Africa. Carol was always quick to volunteer to help others in any way she could. Her family treasured her quick smile and constant love along with her home made quilts and frosted sugar cookies that she individually bagged and mailed every Christmas and Valentine’s Day. She gave her life to Jesus around the age of 10 and pursued living like Him her whole life. We look forward to seeing her in Heaven again soon!
