Carol was my cousin on her mom’s side. My dad Everette was Dora’s oldest brother. So sorry to see this. Thinking of you. Especially to her sister in Florida that I remember visiting one time. Gretchen Greene Culp
I saw Carol's Obit in the paper and wanted to send my (our-Bobbie and I) condolences and are praying God's best for you all at this time. It is Christmas---Immanuel--God with us. This is appropriate as He came to save us and promised to prepare a place for those who know Him. Carol is now with Him. She was a great nurse and her love showed in the way she cared for our patients and by the way she spoke of you all. I am sure we all miss her---but we have this hope (a sure thing). I sent a card but it is to an old address and may well not get to you. I am semi-retired---taking care of the jail which Dr. Dan did until he retired about 4 1/2 years ago. I also took care of all the AFP patients at the 4 nursing homes here in Ashland since then but retired from that last Oct. Have not been in the office for about almost 4 years and Will retire completely in Oct of '23. Our prayers are with you all. Thank you for for letting me boroow Carol all those years!! Vernon Vore,MD.
Tommy and Jim: So sorry to hear of your loss. Rejoicing with you that Carol is in Heaven with a restored mind. She was a great nurse and I so enjoyed having her work for me. I'm sure that she will be missed by all. Blessings on you and your family this Christmas season.
High School classmates, always friends, such a beautiful lady, hate she had to go thru so much, glad she is in Jesus' arms. Look forward to seeing her again. Theda (Denney) Zimmerman
Your mom was such a wonderful person. If I remember correctly, she worked in the nursery at church and cared for our kids in the nursery. She also cared for us when we visited the doctor. We thank God for her faith at that she is now while and with her Lord.
I worked with Carol at Samaritan Hospital in the 70's. At that time 'Tommy' and my twin boys, Mike and Matt, were testing our patience so we shared a lot of stories. We compared notes on how to approach their upbringing. Obviously these kids grew to become great men that we love dearly. My sympathy and prayers for Jim, Tom, and families.
We are so sorry for your loss. We will be praying for God’s strength and comfort in the coming days for you and your family. Love and Blessings, John and Karen Raney
