Mrs. Smith was my first grade teacher in 2000, and I have never forgotten how kind she was to me. I had trouble learning to read and a lot going on home at my young age and she took the extra time to help me after school.  She always made me feel like I was smart, and I eventually became a straight A student all the way through 12th grade. I always stayed in contact with her through the years, and she was always there for me if I ever needed help. I went on to get my degree in  Art and Design from Georgia State, and  I know without a doubt that if it weren't for Mrs. Smith that would have never happened.  I know I wasn't the only kid she inspired and that there are many more that have her to thank for being a part of their success.  Thank you Mrs. Smith for believing in me, you will be forever missed.  ❤️ 

I am so sorry that you had to leave us Ms. Carol. Thank you for all the times you were there for me when I needed you. I know there is a special place in heaven for you! You will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to Sarah and the kids. I will be there to help in anyway I can.
