I will always remember Carol as a bright spot in my life. Her warmth, love, and care impacted me. She was not only a watercolor artist but she lived her whole life creatively in step with the Spirit of God. She lived with a vibrance, hope, and sense of peace that was a beautiful thing to witness.  Carol, you will be missed! I know your joy is full and complete now.
I too was Carol’s friend —inspired, encouraged and loved by her. Carol’s sense of humor and playful personality along with her faith in Jesus gave us both relief from the curveballs of life. Even though we lived far apart most of our friendship, we shared our burdens and prayed for each other. I will miss her dearly.
I remember hearing Carol's lovely soprano voice when I  was new to Sojourn! She was so warm and loving toward my family and me. She and Bob made us feel so welcomed to our new church home.

Carol was one of my closest friends and will always hold a special place in my heart and life. She was highly intelligent, witty, and had a sincere love for her husband, family and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  A talented artist, home cook, entertainer and prayer warrior, she had a quiet and gentle spirit but lived a life packed with Holy Spirit power.  She invested her time in people, not projects, and was an invaluable mentor to me as I raised my own three boys, and walked through some very difficult times.  I met Carol at Bellaire Christian Academy, as I was the kindergarten teacher to two of her three precious sons.  God bless the Robinson family during their loss and we look forward  to the promised hope of being reunited with Carol in Heaven soon.

I met Carol through my husband after we all graduated from Rice. I attended her wedding then we soon after moved to the DC area. Carol and I then began an easy correspondence that grew into a lifelong friendship. I loved seeing her art and she often adorned her notes with fanciful lettering and doodles. She had a fabulous sense of humor and laugh. Phone calls with her were epic. Her love for her family was palpable - I respected her deep faith and steadfastness. I miss her so.

I have loved Aunt Carol since the moment I met her. She was the one of the sweetest, gentlest, most caring women I had ever met. She was incredibly smart and funny, so compassionate, and unconditionally loving. Aunt Carol always encouraged me, supported me, and most importantly, prayed for me. She shared her faith without reservation and inspired me to grow in my faith over the years. We had wonderful phone conversations and a very special visit a few years ago that I will forever be thankful for. My daughters were able to see Uncle Bill and Aunt Carol and witness for themselves how deeply they loved one another as well as the Lord. I am deeply saddened that I will never be able to talk to or hug her again, but I am greatly comforted and excited by the fact that I will see her again one day, with our Savior, in heaven.
