It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Murray, who departed this life on May 30, 2025, in her 80th year, in Walkerton, Ontario.

Born in Toronto and raised in Walkerton, Carol was the third of eight children born to the late Wilfrid and Antoinette (Nettie) Murray (nee Albright).

She was predeceased by beloved sisters Brenda Sparling and Janis Murray; her long-time partner Roy Stevens; brothers-in-law Fred Guerin and Brian Sparling; and sister-in-law Arlene Rettinger.

Carol is survived by her son Derek (Julie) and grandchildren Curtis, Marissa, and Natalie

Carol’s memory will always be cherished by her siblings: Dennis (Donna), Dianne (Ken), Kenneth (Beverly), David (Ruth), Douglas (Mary Anne), and Wilfrid, who offered care, connection, and support throughout her life.

A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.

In remembrance of Carol, the family encourages quiet acts of kindness or time spent with loved ones.
