A fighter until the end, our beloved mother, Maria Carmen Romero, passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 64. True to her nature, she fought all throughout the days she was comatose, but eventually succumbed to the devastating aftermath of an ischemic stroke. 

Carmen requested a cremation and to be laid to rest beside her parents in the Manila Memorial Cemetery. 

She was cremated under the supervision and after prayer by Deacon Jason at the St. Mary's Cemetery and Funeral Home in Sacramento, California.

Her loving family celebrated her life at an intimate ceremony in the Oakland Hills. She would not approve of a full obituary being written, but we would like to state that she is survived by many, many loving friends and family.
