We are saddened to announce that our dearly loved, Carmen Margarita Rodriguez, 59, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away on March 23, 2023 due to medical complications.
Born on August 3, 1963, Carmen, who was also lovingly known as Margie, is survived by her husband, Melvin, their daughter Veronica and her husband Frankie, her surviving siblings, (Rosa, Nancy, Jesus, Marisol and Sammy), her grandchildren,(Carmelys and Jardani) and her extended loving family and friends.
She will be remembered by all who knew her as the ultimate grandma, not only to her family, but to every child who crossed her path.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Margie spent her life cultivating bonds with family and friends.

Her hobby of shopping brought joy to herself and others, as she enjoyed finding the perfect gifts for her loved ones. Margie’s passion for cooking meant that her home was filled with delicious aromas and satisfied well-fed friends and family. She often turned to playful pranks and balloon art creations to uplift the spirits of those around her.
Margie’s personality can be best described as loving, kind, funny, thoughtful, and resourceful. She was a beacon of love and generosity, her home a sanctuary for anyone in need of comfort or support.
Margie will be profoundly missed, but her legacy will live on in the cherished memories and laughter she shared with all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
In keeping with Carmen's wishes, a celebration of life will be held for family and friends to gather and share their love and memories of her. Details will be announced at a later date.
