Carmen Del Real Mitchell, 88, of Lynchburg, VA, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025. Born in Seville, Spain, on November 10, 1936, Carmen brought warmth, strength, and a love bigger-than-life to everyone that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Mitchell, and two sons, Edward "Mitch" Mitchell and Marcus Mitchell. She is survived by her brother, Manuel Garcia, and her sister, Terri Carrano Bandies, her son, Michael Mitchell, and …
