Carmen P. Fiato, Jr. transitioned from this life on June 3, 2022.  He was a avid lover of Opera and had quite a collection during his lifetime.  He retired from the United States Tax Court, where he made many lifelong friends.  He was in the US Army and was a proud veteran.  He was a very spiritual man with a charitable heart.  He was born and raised in Philadelphia, moved to New York, then Washington D.C, and later Maryland.  He and I spoke daily, with few exceptions, about everything and nothing.   We never let the 15 years age difference or the 2500 miles come between us and we always said 'I love you' and ' I love you more' before the end of each call, and laughing at who said it first.  I miss him every day, but we still talk, just not on the phone.  I love you brother dear.
