Carmelita Mae Culp, age 87, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at her home in Menifee California, Thursday, August 28, 2025.  She was born in Paducah, KY, September 7th, 1938, daughter of late Joe and Hilda (Benberry) Culp.

Carmelita lived in Wisconsin, for many years before retiring in 1998, and joining her daughter, son in- law, and 3 grandchildren in California.  Carmelita has been a long time Christian, serving Gods' purpose in her life in many roles; both professionally as a Retail Store Manager, and personally being the best mother, mother- in law, grandmother and friend in the whole world.

Carmelita was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her daughter and son in-law Gail & Garry Holmes.  Her grandchildren Tiffany (Brian) White, Courtney & Garrison Holmes, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her sister, Jacquelyn McClelland, and brother William Culp.

Celebration of life for Carmelita will be held 

Sunday, October 12th 1pm-5pm at The Ranch House, at Audie Murphy Ranch
