Carlton Jermaine Foster-Burns passed away unexpectedly on June 02, 2025 at the age of 47.
Born to Linda Burns and Carl Foster on Aug, 20, 1977, raised by late Linda and Alfonza Burns. When he was in his early 30's, he developed a passion for cooking. He attended Culinary school at Virginia College in Birmingham, Al. He worked for many years at Jim'N Nick's BBQ in Hoover, Al. Later he moved to Mesa, Arizona where he became a chef at State 48 restaurant and was also employed Mountain Mike's
Some of Maine's favorite activities were Shooting pool, listening to music, playing cards, fishing, watching movies, laughing and playing games on his phone. Our family was not expecting the loss of Maine or for his life to be cut so short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Maine forever. He was the sweetest, kindest, most loving and generous soul, and a joy to be around. He will be forever missed. Maine will always be remembered by.
Sisters: Anneka Scott (Talmadge), Natasha Burns, Julia Carter (Punkin). One aunt Mary Williams. Two God brothers Micheal. E. Burns ( Dookie) and Robert LeBlue (Rico). First cousins Barbara Coleman, Angela Anderson, Pamela Thomas, Sonjia Spigner, Geraldine Davis (Ricky) and Leon Thomas Jr. (Spook). Childhood friends: Tony Jackson, Mel Jackson, Carlos Young, Gabriel Wilson, Raynard Young, and Tony Long. Nieces and Nephews: Eva Scott, Sterling Scott, Brian Rogers ( Dell), Dillan Mooney, Christianity Lewis, Jayln, Jlecia Studivant, Naudia, and Marquise Witherspoon. Also a close friend and coworker who was by his side Andrew Herrera...
