Carlos's obituary
Carlos Antonio Rodriguez, a visionary financial leader and beloved husband, father, son and brother passed away peacefully on December 16th at the age of 51. He fought a courageous battle, demonstrating unwavering strength and resilience throughout his journey.
Carlos joins his treasured daughter Miranda Lucille leaving behind his loving wife Gina Galasso and adoring son Giancarlo Nicolas. Additionally, Carlos will be missed by countless family and friends who loved him dearly and deeply. His legacy of courage, tenacity and strength is lovingly etched in the hearts of all that he leaves behind.
Carlos’ professional journey began at Price Waterhouse in Los Angeles after graduating from USC. With his exceptional business acumen, communication and leadership skills, he advanced over the course of his career attaining his professional aspiration to become a Chief Financial Officer. Under his guidance, the companies he served witnessed unprecedented transformation and financial growth, solidifying his position as an industry leader.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Carlos' primary love was his family and his desire to be the very best husband and father. He was also passionate about supporting his son Giancarlo’s endeavors and providing opportunities for youth to play soccer. An athlete in his own right, Carlos deeply believed in the transformational power of sport. Throughout his lifetime Carlos was an avid sports fan religiously supportive of his favorite teams including the Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Cowboys, FC Barcelona, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the USC Trojans. Carlos proudly joined the Loyola High School Chain Gang demonstrating his unwavering exuberance and zest for adventure.
Carlos truly embodied what it meant to care for others and be there when it really mattered. His unwavering determination, sharp wit, infectious laugh, and rich hugs will forever be cherished. Over the years Carlos served as an adjunct professor, coach, and mentor reveling in the advancement of others, all the while championing individuals to become the best version of themselves.
Carlos demonstrated deep professional drive, determination, and perseverance in all aspects of his world, especially around any obstacle he encountered. Until the very end, Carlos’ relentless spirit touched everyone he met, and his memory continues to inspire all who knew him.
May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and memories those who love him carry in their hearts.
