Carlos Miguel “Miguelito” Robles López, age 68, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 25, 2025 after a long battle with illnesses. 

He was born on October 10, 1956 to Ángel Robles Rosa and Nereida López McCormick in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Miguelito was fully bilingual and artistic, using recyclable materials to make figures of his favorite characters like Voltron and transformers. He would spend his days watching shows like Mystery Science Theatre 3000. He worked many years at the Sociedad de Educación y Rehabilitación de Puerto Rico, a center designed for people with special needs. Every so often he would take joy rides without letting his family know and, knowing the área metropolitana’s bus system inside out, would take different buses to go and see places after work. 

He was taken care of by his sister Leticia in 2001 once their mother passed away. In 2019, they moved to Pilot Mountain, NC. He is survived by his siblings Nereida, Federico, and Leticia and their children. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Orquidea.
