Carlos's obituary
Carlos Lamont Gilmore, 54, of Baltimore, Maryland sadly left our world on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey and moved with his family to Randallstown, MD in 1984. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Veronica Gilmore.
Carlos attended Randallstown High School, joined the United States Army and then returned to Baltimore to attend Culinary School. He enjoyed watching and playing soccer. While in the US Army he was awarded an Army Service Ribbon, Parachute Badge and Rifle Sharpshooter Badge.
Carlos worked at many well-known restaurants in the Baltimore area, which he truly enjoyed. He loved to cook and always was aspiring to be a great chef. It was his lifelong dream.
He also had a passion for drawing and left behind many books with his special sketches. He turned many of them into personal tattoos.
Carlos leaves to cherish many loving memories: father, Charles Gilmore Sr. and his wife Ann, sister, Revanette; brother, Charles Jr; daughters Deanna, Peyton and Delaney, son -in- law Alex; grandson, Zachary; his daughters’ loving mothers Jennifer and Nicole; aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and former coworkers.
All who knew him agree that he was a kind and gentle soul. His favorite saying was “Peace, Love and Zen”. He will live in our hearts forever.

In remembrance of Carlos a celebration of life gathering will take place at Victory Villa Baptist Church, 75 Chandelle Rd, Middle River, MD on Saturday, March 8th at 12:00 pm.
