Carlos Gilberto Astete Pimentel, age 85, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025.
Carlos served honorably in the United States Navy Reserve, proudly continuing the Astete family tradition of military service. Deeply patriotic, he took great pride in both his service and in the country he chose to call home. His devotion reflected a strong sense of duty and gratitude for the opportunities he found in the United States—a land he first learned about in …
