Carlo Calliva, 66, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, left us unexpectedly to be with our heavenly father on October 4th, 2021. 

Carlo was born January 24th, 1955 in Torino, Italy but later immigrated to Manchester, CT as a young child with his family where he lived most of his life until he later retired from the construction industry and moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL. 

Carlo loved being in nature and often enjoyed hiking, skiing, scuba diving, bike riding, gardening, fitness, and going to the beach.  Those who knew Carlo shall remember him for his hard work ethic, his ability to start a conversation with nearly anyone, his generosity and willingness to help others in need, and the love he had for his family.  Carlo was a father, brother, grandfather, and dear friend to many.

Carlo was predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Albina .  He is survived by his sister Gina of Glastonbury, CT, two sons Anthony of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Nicholas of Lawrenceville, GA, daughter-in-law Zory of Lawrenceville, GA, two grandkids Alexander & Gianna,  the mother of his sons Joan of Cumming, GA and his beloved dog Bella.
