I just think it is important to let everyone know that Carlin died of fentynal poisoning.

Happy Birthday big guy. I was thinking about something that Sarah said about your contagious laugh…it’s true. You could make people laugh and smile just by having fun yourself. I remember buying a randy river down vest so I could have the same look as you…only to buy it two sizes too big and look like the biggest dork in class.  May the wind always be at your back, and the sun upon your face. And the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars. Happy birthday Carlin.

Thought about you the other day only to come to the island after years only to hear of your passing. One of the greatest laughs of my life was us in your room playing air band while listening to mmmbop on full blast. Sitting in electronics class blowing up capacitors out of teenage boredom. I don’t know how to feel when hearing about friends passing especially when they’re so full of life. Some people are just too big for this world.

I’m so sorry to hear this tragic news . I remember him as a new born , holding him and my own new born baby girl in my arms and I have so many memories of Carlin as a young lad staying with us with his mom , dad and brother when they moved back from the US . My condolences to Diane , Max and Clancy and to his children and to his uncle Ron .

My heart goes out to your family and especially his children, I grew up with Carlin and I always remember his huge smile and contagious laugh, he was always so kind to me in high school was rough one for myself and he made it easier  . We spoke over the years and knew of his struggles  .. I hope he is at peace 🕊️ sending so much love and light
