Carla's obituary
Carla grew her wings on July 1st 2022 at the same family home she grew up in and spent the last few months of her life . Carla was processed in Death by her brother Mike Wier of Springfield Oregon. Her step father Calvin Sylvester of Springfield a nephew Timothy Shipman of . Molalla and one great nephew Joshua Phillips Free of Springfield
Carla enjoyed playing softball with her sisters and other lady's as a young adult and had an excellent batting arm. She also enjoyed playing golf . And disc golf. Watching jerpordy every evening was another one of her favorite pass times there was other game shows she really enjoyed but jerpordy was by far her favorite. She also was a faithfully watcher of SNL . She was very interested in the paranormal and watching psychic mediums. She enjoyed throwing a few bucks in a poker machine and finding good deals at the 100 dollar store working in the yard and chatting with friends and family.
There were times in her life that mental health issues made it hard for her to leave the house. But the last year of her life she was concurring this issue and taking her life back .
Carla had no children of her own . But had many nieces, nephews, great niexes and great nephews and great great nieces and great great nephews that love her kindness corky funniness and that she love being there aunt and being there for them. Carla has many fur babies and a feathered baby and a few fish .
She was an active community member who took on the job of catching and releasing all the strays and not strays and getting them in to be fixed and then released where they were caught to control the over populating of cats .She also helped may people get food for their animals and flea medication .
Carla was married and divorced one time. She had couple loving long term relationships that didn't lead to marriage .
Carla worked at the Springfield. Branch of Portland Meadows track as supervisor taking and placing bets for her customers. Later she work a several different establishment as a bartender and making people smile .
Carla passed in the warm sunshine in the back yard of the family home surrounded by people who loves her . The night before she passed she had one last hoorah and ride with her mom her sister and a few nieces to Sonic to get everyone a big cup of ocean water that she loves and then a quick stop to her favorite dispensary to say good bye to her favorite bus tender and buy a few prerolls .
Carla is survived by her mother Arlene Sylvester of Springfield her father and his wife Robert and Jean Wier of McKenzie river 2 sisters Patricia Hulsey of Eugene and Kathy Shipman and her husband Noel of Molalla , two brothers Jimmie Wier and his wife Shelly of Eugene and Randy Wier (who has since joined her in the after life 12/27/1959 -07/28/2022) and his wife Debbi of Springfield and 2 step brothers Kevin Sylvester and his wife Jill and step brother Larry Sylvester . And 12 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews and 4 great great niece's and nephews.
She will be truly missed on a daily basis by many people who love her and who's life's she touched in one way or another.
