Carl Sumner Sr., 73, of Fort Plain, passed away on March 12th, 2021 after a long hard battle with Lung Cancer.

Carl was born on October, 29th, 1947 to Arthur Sumner Sr, and Ruth Brown in Brattleboro, VT.

Carl was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned.

Carl was also a passionate bowler and could often be found bowling with family when he wasn’t at home.

Anyone who knew Carl knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Carl was predeceased by (Father-Arthur Sumner Sr)(Mother-Ruth Brown)(Brother-Donald Sumner). He is survived by [Karl30, Robyn28, Angie47, Joseph16, Chevroline14, Kente12. And other older Children and many grandchildren.
