I first met my brother Carl in 1958 and for 67 years he has always been my friend, confidant who provided wisdom from his experiences through his personal highs and lows and he had his share of both and handled each with grace, his sense of humor and always on his terms. Carl was man who was kind, there to help anyone who needed a hand, he absolutely loved his daughters Carla and Carrie as well as his grandchildren he was a proud father and grandfather. To say I miss my brother is understated, I don't have the words. For many years there were physical miles where we didn't see each other for long periods but always made time for either short or very long calls to check in with each other talking Corvettes or nothing in particular, the last about an hour before your passing, I hope you were able to hear me. I know you are where you're supposed to be now, you are forever loved and Denise and I will have nothing but great memories of my big brother who I dearly miss.
Another time brother...we will meet on the other side.

Uncle Carl was a very kind man from the day I met him when my Aunt Donna brought him over to meet the family. Everyone loved him from the very start. He always made time for conversation and shared his wisdom with all of us nieces and nephews. We were all excited when he came to town to visit and he always made time for a phone call. Uncle Carl you will be missed so very much. I'm thankful to have had such an amazing Uncle in my life. Thank you for all you did. The time is always too short, but the memories will remain forever. Rest in peace.
