I loved my big brother. He was my Saturday morning cartoon and breakfast partner. The good ole days of true cartoons-Pink Panther, Looney Tunes, Speed Racer, Justice League, Scooby Doo, and Winnie the Poo. (Exit stage left will carry a new meaning) There wasnât a holiday that he didnât call or text to say Charlie Brownâs on tonight. These were and are important memories because they were our times to forget the daily stresses of life as adults and just bond as brother and sister. Watching our Christmas cartoon classics and shopping singing âjust put one foot in front of the otherâ which is what I will have to remind myself to do each day as I find difficult to do without you.
I love you, Carl,  even when you tried to teach me to walk before my time, flinging me up in the air from a tree branch with Mom yelling get her down, shooting me in the leg to see if your BB gun had any bbs in it, đsweet side of helping me write âmy dog has fleasâ 4th grade poem, buying my prom dress for me , and sharing âour weirdnessâ with me. As an adult sharing your courage through the pain and always saying , I love you Marla, without hesitation. I love you too and miss you.Â
