Carl is survived by his beloved children: sons Carl Johnson Junior, Charles Forrest, Robert Forrest Senior, and daughter Brenda Johnson. His legacy continues in the lives of his cherished grandchildren: Robert Forrest, Carissa Forrest, Gary Palms, Emyra Palms, and Erica Johnson. He was predeceased by his loving spouse, Barbara Johnson, whose memory he honored until his final day.
An avid fan of The Ojays, Carl was also known for his passionate support for the Eagles and 76ers. His love for the outdoors was evident in his favorite recreational activities, which included fishing, hunting, and anything that enabled him to bask in the splendor of nature.
