Carl Daniel "Danny" Hicks, 74, of Denton, TX passed away on January 4, 2021. He was born to Carl V and Alice Hicks in Sioux Falls, SD in 1946. Danny graduated from high school in Chicago, IL and entered the United States Army. He fought in the Vietnam war and retired from the army after 22 years of service as a Sergeant First Class.

He was married to Bonnie Lou Hicks in 1969 who survives him. Danny is also survived by his 2 sons Brian and his wife Rita and David and his wife Dianna, 4 grandchildren (Cameron, Courtney, Rita Marie, and Levi) and his sister Karen. He was predeceased by his grandson Brandon.

Danny is known for his love of motorcycles, leather-making, and guns. He and his wife Bonnie enjoyed traveling and exploring the the US and lived internationally.

The memorial service will be January 25, 2021 at 2:15 pm CT at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery where Danny will receive military honors.
