I’m lost for words at this point having to find out a year later that my father passed away. Reguardless of the relationship we had or didn’t have this is hurtful to know that this was kept from me. I was his one and only biological child that he had. I guess we all have to live with the choices we make in life. May you Rest In Peace Carl

My deepest, most sincere, loving condolences to his family and friends.

I worked with Carl in Albuquerque while we were both with Depuy/Johnson and Johnson Orthopedics.

Over these many years since I left Albuquerque, I’ve never stopped thinking about him or the immense treasure he gave me in being my friend—-well beyond a coworker.

His humor, his selflessness, his dedication to friends and family, his ever optimism, his commitment to doing and being good, his loving nature, his work ethic, and so so much more have remained in the forefront of my mind. He was a remarkable man of highest character whose great kindness brought our friendship quickly and indelibly to my soul.

I’ve spoken of him to my family since the day we met and to this day I recall the many times we shared that created space in my heart for this wonderful being.

I’ve missed him and wanted so badly to rekindle our friendship. Tonight, once again, I looked for him but found this, my last search for a friend who will remain in my heart and mind forever.

I’ve missed you Carl, like my brother. You were one of a kind and I saw you like a wise warrior. Your face is timeless and that of a Brave. You honored your family, your lineage.

We met in 6th grade when he was kicking the back of my chair on the bus. We got in a fight but then became best friends. He was like a brother to me, the best person I ever knew then and now. We had so many memories, ran varsity track and cross country for Rosemead High School, ran the Palos Verdes Marathon together, went on double dates, had several fights (against others). Carl was also the bravest person I knew even with his slight build - he feared no one and had a heart of a warrior. Of course, along with this we both joined the Marine Corps together. After the Marines life got tough for us both and we lost contact when he moved out of California to New Mexico. I wish we could have kept contact or at least had one more memory together. In fact, I was looking for him when I sadly and broken-heartedly found his obituary. Carl will always be my best friend.  I will miss you dearly Carl.  God bless your soul.

I just found out today that Carl passed away over one year ago. I am deeply saddened for your loss. Carl was my best friend. He was the best and greatest person I ever knew. I am beyond sad right now and cannot think straight. We joined the Marine Corps together, and grew up in school together in California. I lost contact with them after the Marine Corps, but I still considered him my best friend. May God bless and allow him into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Very sorry to hear about this. Rest in Heaven brother.....
So sorry for your loss. Carl was the kindest most gentle soul I’ve ever met, may God keep him   Rest Carl
