So very sorry, Thelma, for the loss of your beloved companion!  Two instances that I distinctly remember are Carl leading us through the slushy, snow- covered sidewalks in London, the morning after we were grounded at Heathrow enroute to Barcelona.  Carl traipsed on ahead of all of us, cell phone in hand, looking like he knew exactly where we were, and where we were headed at all times.  This was not always the case, but we surely spent a delightful morning tromping through the wet, snowy streets and sidewalks of London.  The second is of the "boys" carving that loin of beef into thirds. 

We had such joy in your company!  We wish you many blessings and much love, now and going forward!
