Carl James Christianson, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024. Born on August 3, 1944, Carl led a life of adventure and full of passion. Among his greatest adventures was his time serving in the U.S. Navy, which was an achievement that filled him with abundant pride. His other joys in life included flying,  spending time outdoors, and his many travels to China. 

He is survived by his sons, Kent (Brian), Andy (Jessica), Aaron (Erica), and his grandsons, Keegan, Henry, Tommy, and Charlie. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Ava Christianson, brothers Otto Jr, Dave, and John Christianson, and a nephew, Eric Christianson. 

A special thank you to Jim Boreen, for his true friendship shown to Carl, we are forever grateful for all you have done. 

A Celebration of Life open house will be held on Saturday, October 12th from 2-5p.m. , hosted at 3214 Hoffman Ct. Cherry Valley, IL.
