It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Carl Black, who departed this world on May 12, 2025, at the age of 46. His departure has left an unimaginable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless memories.

Born in Springfield, MO, Carl was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for the outdoors—whether casting a line on a quiet lake at sunset with his family or spending a sunny afternoon on the golf course with friends, those moments brought him peace and happiness.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Elizabeth, and their three children: Dorothy, Matthew, and Abigail, who were the light of his life. His family was his greatest pride, and he poured his heart into every moment spent with them. His greatest joy came from supporting, protecting, and laughing with those he loved most. 

Those who knew Carl will remember his warm heart, quiet strength, and easy-going nature. Though his life was cut short, Carl’s spirit lives on in every cast of a fishing rod, every swing of a club, the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created. He will never be forgotten. 

Despite our sorrow, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit remains among us even in his absence.
