It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Candice Krieger, who left us too soon on October 14, 2025. Born on November 5, 1978, Candice's spirit and love for life was admired by all who knew her.

Candice is lovingly remembered by a large, closely-knit family. She is survived by her father, Jack Hinkson, her mother, Julie Hinkson, and her siblings, Crystal(Brad) Rice, Jennifer Groom(Rob Russell), Bill Hahn, Adam (Pearley)Hahn, Taylor Hahn/(Cody) Sharpe, Nikki Hinkson, April Hinkson, and Ben(Kirsten)Hinkson.

Her legacy will continue through her three children, Brett (Shelby)Mosier, Kelsey Eaton, and Corbin Eaton, whose lives she cherished and adored. Candice’s love for family was profound and ever-present, serving as a beacon of affection for those fortunate enough to be loved by her. 

She reunites with her grandfather, Dennis Groom, and mother, Tamara Groom, who preceded her in death. Despite the loss, the family takes comfort in the thought of their reunion.

A remembrance for Candice will be held on December 27, 2025, beginning at noon in Rome City. As we mourn the loss of Candice, we invite those who knew her to gather, remember, and celebrate the beautiful life she lived to the fullest.

Candice will be missed deeply, and her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those she left behind. As we grieve, we also remember the joy, love, and light she brought into our lives. May she find peace in eternal rest.
