My name is Chloe and Candice is my 3rd cousin from my grandmother side. Despite the enormous gap in our family tree, we've been nothing less than sisters. She was the big sister I never knew I needed my whole life. Because of our closeness, her kids and I naturally grew a bond instantly. I love those kids with all my heart which is why it was a no brainer when she asked me to continue to raise them after she was gone. For those who don't know, I am a single mother with two small children of my own. My kids have been raised with Destiny and Taliah in their lives on a daily basis since they entered this world. They are sisters and it's so evident when you see them all together. God has blessed our unit with togetherness in such a massive way. I truly believed he brought us together in this way because he knew what we were going to lose. Candice will leave behind her son Chase, 28, her daughter Destiny, 18, and her daughter Taliah, 14; plus an entire tribe of cousins raised like sisters. All donations will help with her memorial as well as support for her family.
