Candace (Candy) Lee Miraglia was born in Tarpon Springs, Florida on November 14, 1944 and was the oldest daughter of Wesley and Audry Lyons. She married Edward John Miraglia Jr on May 9, 1970 in Jacksonville, Florida and shortly after their marriage the family moved to Maryland. She worked 17 years at Doctors Hospital as an ER unit clerk. She was an active member of St Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church. Some of her favorite pastimes were traveling in the RV with Ed and Bella (her puppy), playing Bingo, visiting with friends, "Royals" watching, watching ice skating, and the Olympics. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Candy is survived by her husband Ed, her children: Deborah Shafer (Chester) of Sevierville, TN; Deanna Tow of Jessup, MD; John Miraglia (Nikki) of Jessup, MD and grandchildren Taylor and AJ Tow, Brianna, Olivia and McKinley Miraglia. She is also survived by her sisters Cindy Rieder (Bob) of Huntsville, AL; Connie Rozman (Smitty) of Batesville, IN; sisters-in-law Barbara West, Lakeland, Fl and Joanne Snow, Jessup, MD and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
